This post has been a long time in the making, when I think about it. I met Lauren & Rob over a year ago, and communicated with them in such detail on so many things. From wedding logistics, aesthetics, their thoughts & wishes, and just getting to know each other. We worked together to craft their wedding into something special and memorable. Lilybelle, their dog - we discussed Lily a lot too. So, I have that proud little 'look what we did' feeling as I type this, because it turned out how I hoped.
A sweet thank you to Jessica Charles Photography, for capturing their big day. The rain was like HEY I'M HERE TO PARTY, and we greeted it and managed it as best as anyone could. Thank you to you + your team for doing your thing despite the clouds.
I have always joked that my greatest regret in life is that I do not have a sister. I love my brother, but when I see sisters together, I envy the bond. I see them laugh, bicker, and speak in a shorthand that is so very special. My heart aches to say that very shortly after their wedding, Lauren lost her sister, Leanne. Leanne was so sweet to me & my team at the wedding. She pulled us aside and expressed gratitude to us for paying special attention to her. I am eternally grateful that Lauren and Rob were able to celebrate their day with her, and events like this continue to remind me of how special wedding days are. Lauren & Rob - all my love to you as you heal.
